Music Technology 

(For Year 9-11) 

RSL Level 2 Certificate for Music Practitioners (Technology) Learn how to record your own music using industry-leading software and professional-level hardware. From making your own beats to recording live bands, gain the skills you need to start succeeding in the industry and earn a qualification the equivalent of a GCSE. 

GCSE Music 

(For Year 10-11) 

OCR GCSE Music 

If you have studied one of the courses above, or are Grade 3 or higher on your instrument, study GCSE Music in Year 10 or 11. Study a range of music from classical to rock and pop, film and world music and develop your performing and composition skills even further. 

 

Each course has an additional qualification

As part of a student’s studies on any of the above courses, students will also be entered in for graded Music Theory exams from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
