Bella Fleming

Violin and Cello Teacher

Isabella is a London based violinist who graduated with Distinction in her Masters from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on the LSO Orchestral Artistry course. Prior to this she studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she graduated with First Class Honours and received the 2018 Trinity Laban Silver Medal for Strings.
She previously attended the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department.

Isabella freelances regularly with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and has played alongside the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle at the Barbican and Trafalgar Square. Isabella has enjoyed playing at festivals such as Dorset Opera Festival and Southwell Music Festival and in the Britten-Pears Orchestra conducted by Marin Alsop at the Snape Proms.

As a soloist Isabella has played with the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra at St John’s Waterloo with conductor Christoper Stark, and the CoMA ensemble conducted by Gregory Rose in concerts at Kings Place and St John’s Smith Square.

She is a former member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, where she enjoyed playing at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms, the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and Buckingham Palace for conductors such as Vasily Petrenko, John Wilson and Paul Daniel. In 2014 she was awarded second place at the Stratford and East London Music Festival's 'Young Musician Competition'.

Isabella very much enjoys teaching the violin, and has an LTCL teaching diploma with distinction.
