
Students are able to book rehearsal rooms in the dept and form their own Rock/Pop Bands. They will take part in numerous perfoamces including our annual 'Morpeth's Magnificent March Music Month ' - #MMMMM. Former band "Mammoth Sound" from Morpeth have gone on to perform at The Royal Albert Hall for the opening of the School Proms
TUESDAYS - AFTERSCHOOL

Students can learn how to use the industry standard sequencing software Logic Pro to write & produce their own music. They can compose a variety of music from Hip Hop, Grime, RnB, Rock, Pop, Dub Step, Rap & Soul. They will learn how to operate the schools professional recording studio. Led by our Director of Music Mr Keil our Orchestra is extremely popular with students from all years and open to students of all abilities. With a wide and varied repertoire they perform scores from TV and Film as well a classical greats.

Our Choir rehearses every Thursday and is led by Mr Jenkins and Kirsty our singing teacher. Past projects have seen the choir recording their own CD at The Premises Studio's Hackney with Gospel Leader Clive Brown and performing live on stage atthe o2 with Roger Waters for Pink Floyd's The Wall.

For those who are Grade 3 three and above a small ensemble to stretch your technique and ability to the max. The group is led by Sam our Trumpet teacher.
MONDAYS - AFTERSCHOOL

For all Brass and Woodwind players unto Grade 2. A place to make new friends and play great music. Perviously the band have travelled to Spain and Holland. The band is jointly run by Simon, John and Sam.



String club is for anyone playing Violin, Viola and Cello at any level. It is run by our string teacher Rosie
