COST: For a long time, Morpeth has been one of the very few schools in the country where we have enabled all pupils to access free instrumental tuition (in addition to their music lessons as part of the curriculum). We have always believed that music is an important part of their education and continue to want all pupils to be able to access this equally. This does have a significant cost for the school. From September 2024, we will be asking families to pay at least half of the cost of these lessons (approximately £70 per term). However, we will continue to subsidise the lessons for any families who cannot afford this additional cost.
We use INVOLVE EDUCATION to schedule instrumental and singing lessons. Once your child has been given a slot for lessons you should receive an invite email with a link to create your account. Creating your account this way will automatically let you see your child's upcoming music lessons from the school. For safeguarding reasons, your child won't be able to create their learner account until you've created a parent account. To learn more about INVOLVE EDUCATION please click here
